Core was started in June 2001 by David Linderman and Rob Higgs. It began with the idea of creating a client focused experience by way of providing a consistent “business-like” access to the design team. Though Core was originally operated out of Dave Linderman’s basement, Dave and Rob believed in providing their clients with a design service that operated like a professional consulting design firm, and focused on their professional conduct and practices from day one.
In October of 2003, Core moved its offices to downtown Downers Grove in the western suburbs of Chicago. After outgrowing the Downers Grove space, Core moved their offices again to their new studio in Warrenville, IL in August 2007 where they currently reside.
